The contact stated he sustained whiplash, neck and lower back injuries and did seek medical attention at the hospital. A police report was filed. The vehicle was not drivable. The contact towed the vehicle to an independent mechanic. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. A dealer was not contacted. Upon investigation, the contact was made aware that the VIN was associated to NHTSA Campaign Number: 20V208000 (VISIBILITY). The manufacturer had been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 19,126.
