Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 TOYOTA RAV4. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE HIS WIFE WAS DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 40 MPH, THE SUNROOF EXPLODED WITHOUT IMPACT. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE SUN ROOF SHADE PREVENTED SHATTERED GLASS FROM ENTERING THE CABIN OF THE VEHICLE. SLOANE TOYOTA OF MALVERN LOCATED AT 593 LANCASTER AVE., MALVERN, PA 19355, WAS CONTACTED AND INFORMED OF THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE WAS APPROXIMATELY 80,000.
