Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS VERY WELL KEPT AND THAT THE UNDERCARRIAGE OF THE VEHICLE WAS REGULARLY WASHED AND SERVICED HOWEVER, THE UNDERCARRIAGE BECAME VERY CORRODED. THE SUBFRAME AND FRONT SUSPENSION OF THE VEHICLE SHOWED AN EXCESSIVE AMOUNT OF RUST. NEITHER THE DEALER NOR THE MANUFACTURER WERE NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 256,000.
