Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 FORD FUSION. WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE VEHICLE STALLED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FAILURE ALSO OCCURRED WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS STOPPED IN TRAFFIC. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE NEEDLE FOR THE RPM GAUGE FLUCTUATED; HOWEVER, THE ENGINE DID NOT REV UP. THE VEHICLE STALLED, BUT WAS ABLE TO BE RESTARTED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO CAPITAL FORD OF CHARLOTTE (5411 N TRYON ST, CHARLOTTE, NC 28213, (844) 242-1515) TO BE DIAGNOSED, BUT THE MECHANIC WAS UNABLE TO PROVIDE A PROGNOSIS FOR THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FAILURE WAS INTERMITTENT. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 100,000.
