Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 FORD FUSION. WHILE DRIVING 65 MPH ON THE HIGHWAY, THE ENGINE SHUT OFF. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO GLIDE THE VEHICLE TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND ACTIVATED THE HAZARD LIGHTS. WHEN THE CONTACT REMOVED AND RE-ATTACHED THE BATTERY CABLE, THE VEHICLE WAS FINALLY ABLE TO RESTART. THE MANUFACTURER STATED THAT THE VEHICLE HAD TOO MANY MILES TO COVER THE REPAIRS BY WARRANTY AND THERE WERE NO RECALLS. THE DEALER HAD NOT BEEN CONTACTED. THE CONTACT FELT THAT THE MANUFACTURER WAS STONEWALLING AFTER FINDING NUMEROUS ONLINE COMPLAINTS. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 75,000.
