TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 FORD EDGE. WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS STARTED, THE REAR WINDSHIELD EXPLODED WITHOUT WARNING. THERE WERE NO INJURIES. THE CONTACT CALLED HER INSURANCE COMPANY AND THEY WERE TO SEND SOMEONE TO INSPECT THE VEHICLE. NAPLETON FORD LIBERTYVILLE (LOCATED AT 1010 N MILWAUKEE AVE, LIBERTYVILLE, IL 60048, 877-816-4872) WAS CONTACTED, BUT HAD NOT CALLED THE CONTACT BACK. THE CONTACT REACHED OUT TO THE MANUFACTURER AND WAS PROVIDED CASE NUMBERS: CAS24629948 AND CAS24629949. THE MANUFACTURER REFERRED THE CONTACT TO NHTSA TO FILE A COMPLAINT. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 40,000. *LN*JB
