Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 FORD TRANSIT. WHILE DRIVING 60 MPH, THE VEHICLE STARTED TO HESITATE AND MADE AN ABNORMAL NOISE. IN ADDITION, THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO BABBITT FORD LINCOLN (LOCATED AT 11 N VERDE ST, FLAGSTAFF, AZ 86001, (928) 774-5063) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE COUPLING NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED PER NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 17V408000 (POWER TRAIN) IN AUGUST OF 2017. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 158,000.
