TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 FORD ESCAPE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS LEAKING ANTIFREEZE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO VIVA AUTO GROUP (414 EXECUTIVE CENTER BLVD, EL PASO, TEXAS 79902, (915) 834-6200), BUT THE PART WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 17V209000 (ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING); HOWEVER, THE PART NEEDED FOR THE REPAIR WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE CONTACT CALLED GALPIN FORD (LOCATED AT 15505 ROSCOE BLVD, NORTH HILLS, CA 91343, (818) 787-3800) AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE PART WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND STATED THAT THE PART WOULD BECOME AVAILABLE IN DECEMBER OF 2018. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 71,000. PARTS DISTRIBUTION DISCONNECT.
