Consumer Description

THREE TIMES THIS HAS HAPPENED WHILE DRIVING. SLOWING TO STOP AT A LIGHT ON A HIGHWAY IN HEAVY TRAFFIC. SLOWING DOWN AT A STOP SIGN ON SIDE STREET NO TRAFFIC. TURN WITH ACCELERATION OFF A HEAVY CONGESTED AREA TO SIDE ROAD. NO ACCIDENT TO REPORT, BUT COULD HAVE BEEN A MAJOR ONE AT THE BUSIEST INTERSECTION IN TOWN. THE 3RD INCIDENT THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON. HAD IT READ AND CODE P2172 IS THROTTLE ACTUATOR CONTROL SYSTEM. ALL 3 TIMES WERE WITHIN 8 DAYS.
