Consumer Description

I WAS MAKING A RIGHT HAND TURN INTO TRAFFIC ON A BUSY HIGHWAY WHEN MY BRAND NEW 2018 JEEP COMPASS STALLED OUT. I HAD TO QUICKLY DRIFT TO SAFETY AND PUT ON MY HAZARD LIGHTS AND TRY TO START THE CAR AGAIN. I TOOK ABOUT A MINUTE TO START AGAIN. AFTER THAT IT HAPPENED SEVERAL MORE TIMES ALL WHEN I WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF DRIVING. I CALLED THE DEALER AND WAS TOLD THAT IT USUALLY MEANS IT NEEDS AN OIL CHANGE. I HAD THE CAR FOR 3 MONTHS AND WAS TOLD I SHOULD CHECK THE OIL EVERY 500 TO 1000 MILES EVEN THOUGH THE CAR TAKES OIL AND SHOULD BE GOOD FOR ABOUT 5,000 MILES. NEVER ONCE DID I RECEIVE ANY WARNING LIGHTS. I FEAR FOR MY SAFETY WHEN DRIVING THIS VEHICLES. *DT *DT*JB
