Consumer Description

I'VE HAD A SERVICE SHIFTER MESSAGE APPEAR NUMEROUS TIMES AND THEN DISAPPEAR. WHEN I WOULD TAKE IT IN TO GET LOOKED AT I WAS TOLD THAT THERE WAS NO RECORD OF THAT CODE BEING DISPLAYED IN THE CAR LOG/MEMORY AND THAT THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT AT THE DELEARSHIP COULDN'T FIND ANYTHING WRONG WITH IT. UPON DOING RESEARCH ON THIS MESSAGE I FOUND THAT MANY OTHER PEOPLE HAVE HAD THIS SAME PROBLEM AND IF LEFT UNCHECKED CAN CAUSE THE VECHICLE TO SHIFT INTO PARK WHILE IN MOTION CAUSING LOSS OF CONTROL AND ACCIDENTS. I HAVE RECEIVED THIS MESSAGE WHILE BOTH STATIONARY JUST WHEN I TURNED THE CAR ON, AND ALSO WHILE IN MOTION ON A ROAD.
