TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 KIA OPTIMA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 60 MPH, THE VEHICLE FAILED TO ACCELERATE ABOVE 20 MPH. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER KIA OF HUNTINGTON (1720 EAST JERICHO TNPK, HUNTINGTON, NY 11743) WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE TURBO WASTE GATE VALVE SOLENOID FAILED AND NEEDED REPLACEMENT. THE MANUFACTURE WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND CASE NUMBER: 12523258 WAS OPENED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 87,000.
