Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 JEEP CHEROKEE THAT WAS HITCHED TO A RECREATIONAL VEHICLE. WHILE DRIVING THE RECREATIONAL VEHICLE AT 60 MPH WITH THE JEEP IN TOW, THE CONTACT NOTICED THAT THE JEEP WAS SWAYING VIGOROUSLY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN UNKNOWN JEEP DEALER (THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING ON VACATION), BUT THE FAILURE COULD NOT BE DIAGNOSED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT IT WAS SAFE TO DRIVE THE RECREATIONAL VEHICLE WHILE TOWING THE JEEP. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND DID NOT ASSIST. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 30,000. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
