TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 FORD ESCAPE. WHILE DRIVING, THE CHECK COOLANT INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS REMEDIED PER NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 17V209000 (ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING). THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO POMPANO FORD LINCOLN (2741 N FEDERAL HWY, POMPANO BEACH, FL 33064) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT WATER DAMAGED THE ENGINE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT REPAIRS AND A LOANER VEHICLE WOULD BE FREE OF CHARGE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 34,000.
