Consumer Description

CAR PURCHASED 1/18/2014. SAFETY RECALL NOTICE 17S09/NHTSA RECALL 17V-209 RECEIVED 4/2017. PARTS WERE NOT AVAILABLE TILL 11/22/2017. BY THIS TIME, VEHICLE WAS OUT OF WARRANTY. COOLANT SEEPAGE WAS DUE TO PRESSURE FRACTURES WITHIN COOLANT TANK WALLS AND TANK NOT PART OF RECALL. THE "LOW LEVEL SENSOR" IS A NEEDED ADDITION BUT I FAR AS I CAN TELL, THE REPLACEMENT COOLANT TANK IF NOT AN IMPROVED TANK, WILL ALSO DEVELOP PRESSURE FRACTURES IN THE FUTURE. MAYBE FORD WILL HAVE A TANK FIX LATER.
