Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 FORD ESCAPE. WHILE DRIVING 50 MPH, THE VEHICLE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING DURING ACCELERATION. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO CRESCENT FORD (100 OLD WINSTON RD, HIGH POINT, NC 27265) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE FUEL PUMP PRESSURE SENSOR NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE ISSUE AND REFERRED THE CONTACT TO NHTSA. THE VIN WAS INVALID. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 41,000.
