Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 RAM 1500. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT APPROXIMATELY 80 MPH, THERE WAS AN ABNORMAL NOISE COMING FROM UNDERNEATH THE VEHICLE ALONG WITH AN ABNORMAL NOISE. THE ESP WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT REDUCED THE SPEED AND PROCEEDED TO A REST STOP. WHILE INSPECTING THE VEHICLE IT WAS NOTICED THAT THE FRONT STRAP THAT HOLDS THE FUEL TANK WAS HANGING AND FRACTURED DUE TO CORROSION. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THELEN AUTO GROUP JEEP/CHRYSLER DEALER AT BAY CITY, MICHIGAN AND THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND A COMPLAINT WAS FILED NUMBER: [XXX].
