TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 VOLKSWAGEN EOS. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER (CHARLES MAUND VOLKSWAGEN 6900 BURNET RD, AUSTIN, TX 78757 (512) 458-1111) TO BE SERVICED PER NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 16V913000 (SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC, ELECTRONIC STABILITY CONTROL). THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE MODULE FAILED TO COMMUNICATE WITH THE DEALER'S COMPUTERS. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT HE WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR A NEW MODULE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE ISSUE AND THE CONTACT WAS AWAITING A CALL BACK FROM THE REGIONAL MANAGER. THE VIN WAS INVALID. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.
