TL* THE CONTACT'S HUSBAND OWNS A 2014 FORD ESCAPE. THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 17V209000 (ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING). THE PART FOR THE REMEDY WAS UNAVAILABLE. WHILE THE CONTACT'S HUSBAND WAS AT A STOP, THE CONTACT NOTICED THAT COOLANT LEAKED ONTO THE GROUND. UPON INSPECTION, THE CONTACT NOTICED THAT RADIATOR FLUID WAS LEAKING AND THE RESERVOIR COOLANT CAP WAS CRACKED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER OR DIAGNOSED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 19,000. UPDATED 08/24/17*LJ *CN
