Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 BUICK LACROSSE. ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS, THE CONTACT APPLIED THE BRAKE PEDAL TO ENGAGE THE PUSH BUTTON START, BUT THERE WAS NO RESPONSE. THE DEALER WAS UNABLE TO REPLICATE THE FAILURE. A SECOND DEALER INDICATED THAT THEY REPLACED THE KEY FOB BATTERY, BUT THE REPAIR WAS NOT A SOLUTION TO PREVENT THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER PROVIDED NO REPAIR SOLUTION. THE CONTACT HAD NO REMEDY FROM THE MANUFACTURER PERTAINING TO THE BRAKE SYSTEM WITH THE PUSH BUTTON START FEATURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED.
