Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 FORD FUSION. WHILE AT A STOP AND ATTEMPTING TO ACCELERATE, THE VEHICLE STALLED. THE VEHICLE WAS ABLE TO BE RESTARTED AND THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE FAILURE RECURRED ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE PURGE VALVE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 44,000.
