Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 NISSAN ALTIMA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS STARTED, THERE WAS AN ABNORMALLY LOUD NOISE THAT CAME FROM THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE OF THE VEHICLE. THE FAILURE RECURRED EACH TIME THE VEHICLE WAS STARTED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER, BUT WAS NOT DIAGNOSED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE ABNORMAL NOISE WAS THE ELECTRIC POWER STEERING AND THAT THE VEHICLE WAS FUNCTIONING AS DESIGNED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 26.
