Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 DODGE RAM 2500. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 35 MPH OVER A BUMP, THERE WAS A COMPLETE LOSS OF STEERING CONTROL FOR A FEW SECONDS. THE FAILURE RECURRED WHENEVER ENCOUNTERING A BUMP, POTHOLE, OR UNEVEN ROAD SURFACES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER, WHERE A FRONT AND REAR WHEEL ALIGNMENT WERE PERFORMED. THE FAILURE PERSISTED AFTER THE REPAIR. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 76,000.
