TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 CHEVROLET CORVETTE. WHILE DRIVING AT 45 MPH, THE TARGA REMOVABLE PART FOR THE ROOF DETACHED FROM THE VEHICLE. THERE WERE RECALLS FOR THE COMPONENT, BUT THE CONTACT'S VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED. THE CONTACT NOTIFIED THE MANUFACTURER. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 95,000.
