Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 CADILLAC CTS. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT APPROXIMATELY 70 MPH, THE TRACTION CONTROL WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE STARTED TO SLOW DOWN INDEPENDENTLY AND STALLED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE THE FAILURE WAS UNABLE TO BE DIAGNOSED, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS THEN TOWED TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE THROTTLE CONTROL SENSOR NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 100,000.
