TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 CHEVROLET IMPALA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE PARKING THE VEHICLE, SMOKE STARTED TO EMIT FROM THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. THE FAILURE RECURRED NUMEROUS TIMES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER. THE TECHNICIAN REPAIRED THE EXHAUST BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER. HOWEVER, THE PARTS NEEDED TO DO THE REPAIR WERE UNAVAILABLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 634.
