Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 CHEVROLET CORVETTE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 55 MPH, THE HARD TOP DETACHED FROM THE VEHICLE ALONG WITH AN ABNORMAL NOISE THAT WAS HEARD. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A PRIVATE MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS ADVISED THAT THE GLUE FAILED TO HOLD THE HARD TOP INTO PLACE. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 93,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 95,550.
