Consumer Description

I WAS DRIVING TO WORK AND A MESSAGE POPPED-UP "REDUCED ENGINE POWER" MY SPEED WAS QUICKLY REDUCED FROM 45 MPH TO 20 MPH. I IMMEDIATELY PULLED OVER LUCKILY I WAS NOT HIT BY ANOTHER VEHICLE. THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT REMAINS ON IN THE VEHICLE. I HAD THE VEHICLE DIAGNOSED AND WAS TOLD THE THROTTLE SENSOR NEED TO BE REPLACED. THIS IS A DANGEROUS ISSUE THAT GM NEED TO ADDRESS. NUMEROUS OF IMPALA OWNERS HAVE FILED COMPLAINTS, BUT HAVE BEEN IGNORED. I FEEL AS THOUGH GM SHOULD RECALL THE VEHICLES AND FIX THE DEFECTS... THIS IS PUTTING ME, MY CHILDREN, AND MANY OTHERS AT RISK. PLEASE HELP WITH THIS ISSUE. *TR
