Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 NISSAN VERSA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE TURNING THE STEERING WHEEL IT MADE A CLUNKING NOISE THAT SOUNDED AS METAL RUBBING AGAINST METAL. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER SEVERAL TIMES FOR THE FAILURE. THE DEALER REPLACED THE TIRES WHEELS SPACER; HOWEVER THE FAILURE WAS NOT CORRECTED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER WHO DIAGNOSE THAT THE STEERING COLUMN NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 2 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 61,511.
