TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 CHEVROLET AVEO. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 40 MPH, THE VEHICLE DECELERATED AND THE RPMS BEGAN TO INCREASE RAPIDLY. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO CONTINUE DRIVING AT A REDUCED SPEED. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE DEFECT. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 44,700.
