TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 KIA SPECTRA. WHILE PARKED THE CONTACT STATED HIS CHILD APPLIED THE SAFETY LOCK TO THE TRUNK OF THE VEHICLE. AFTER THE SAFETY LOCK WAS APPLIED THE TRUNK WOULD NOT OPEN ELECTRONICALLY. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTIC. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 47,000.
