Consumer Description

MY 2005 FORD F150 QUIT WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY WITH MY 12 YR OLD SON. ENGINE BEGAN TO SPIT AND SPUTTER AND STRANDED US ON THE HIGHWAY. AFTER TOWING TO MY LOCAL FORD DEALER. THE DEALER DISCOVERED THE TIMING CHAIN HAD SLIPPED CAUSING THE TRUCK TO JUMP TIME AND RUINING THE ENGINE. THE TRUCK HAS 130,000 HIGHWAY MILES. NOW THEY WANT $7,500 FOR A NEW ENGINE. THE OTHER ISSUE IS MY REAR DRIVER SIDE WINDOW JUST FELL INTO THE DOOR. THEY WANT BETWEEN 200 AND 300 DOLLARS TO REPAIR.
