Consumer Description

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 KIA SORENTO. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 65 MPH, THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE AIR CONDITIONER SHUT OFF WITHOUT WARNING, CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO MAKE A GRINDING NOISE, AND THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT ALSO NOTICED SMOKE COMING FROM UNDER THE HOOD OF THE VEHICLE. THE DEALER WAS NOTIFIED WHO AND ADVISED THE CONTACT THAT THE ENGINE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE CONTACT DID NOT INFORM THE MANUFACTURER. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE APPROXIMATELY 2000.
